location and beds are realy comfortable.

location and beds are realy comfortable..

there is no full mirror in the hostel, being a girl, I missed the most. they don't have liquid handwash on the wash basin. not as clean as I'm expected.

Walking distance to mrt station and bus stop

1) I got bitten by bed bugs and it’s bad. Because of that I can’t sleep and I keep scratching my body the whole night. 2) One of the sink in the toilet clogged.

Reasonable price and good location

staffs are so lovely and friendly have pretty big own locker to keep stuffs inside 10-15 mins walks to mrt station have free maps and brochures for traveling around so many restaurant and minimart nearby the hostel

there's no light for each bed and all lights in the room will turn off after 11 pm AC in the will turn off after 7.30 am no hair dryer and have too small mirror in the bathroom no plug for the upper bed

Good location, helpful staff

Uncomfortable pillows. Bathroom is quite ok except for some room without hot water. Though we stayed on the highest floor, the noise from the road at night was still pretty disturbing.

Messy, smelly near stairs (where shoes are placed), site says it has 24h reception but actually it opens 7:00AM-01:00AM when we reached there receptionist was late (arrived at almost 09:00AM)

Basic facilities with Good Location (recommend for bugget travellers)

Since last minutes booking left 24-mixed dorm, will abit worry about the environment.. however, I will allocate to a private room with 4bed with my friends at 4th floor (light & easy carrying luggage recommend since no lift in the hostel).. Overall was nice, bathroom & toilet was clean (advised bring your own toiletries included toohthpaste & shampoo etc) Location are good, as easy access to Farrer Park MRT Station within 7min walking distance, and many food stall & restaurant nearby.. Receptionists are friendly, light breakfast provided (bread, jam, coffee/tea/milo).. however, you can go out for chicken rice, wantan mee etc outside within 3min walking distance

No lift inside hostel.. please prepare an easy carry luggage incase you being arrange to highest floor (4th/5th floor) Air-cond can't self adjust temperature, have to ask from receptionist to adjust for you. If bathroom more hanger to hang clothes & toiletries are better.. haha

Okay stay for short trip and just sleep.

It is affordable and value-for-money if you just look for a place to sleep after a long day wandering around.

The impression would be much better if the common room, where the bed bunks located, was cleaner. Shoes rack's smell is another to be improved.

Enough for 2 nights

Is all good, just a poor breakfast compared with other hostel and the same many, but still all good, clean, spacious, good mattress, good wifi.

Is far away from the CBD, but u can catch up a bus in front of the hostel... The facilities all good.

Honest review from a humble man hahaha. jk

Friendly host, good location - just a couple of kilometres to the central twon (Merlion and etc). Its walkable for me. Near to those famous streets (Arab, Bugis, etc). Think its located in vibrant neighborhood just when we were there it was Chinese New Year so pretty all shops were closed or else itd have been very busy street. Very near to MRT stations like Lavender, Jalan Besar, etc. In my personal opinion, Jalan Besar MRT is much nearer as when you get off at the station you just have to walk down the road till you reach the property. Got off at Lavender on the first day and it felt much further (compared to Jalan Besar) as you have to walk through buildings and keep crossing the road. They have simple breakfast and they let you to keep your bags after check-out if youre gonna do the last min sightseeing. Oh yeah, Queen Street Bus terminal is nearby too! So you dont have to worry to get on the train and change to Kranji if youre crossing the border to JB. They have personal power outlet at every bed and you'll get a personal locker to put valuable things as well. Bathroom kinda okay with hot shower facilities. Overall its a nice backpackers hostel. (;

The bathrooms not really well-cleaned. Could notice quite many hair at the bathroom floor, especially at the thing where the water flows through (idk what you call that one haha). But if you keep your head up during the shower, it shouldnt be a problem. Or the least you can do, put on a pair of thong/flip flops before going to the bathroom (even actually you have to take off your shoes before entering the dorm). Speaking of taking off the shoes, please expect some bad odour heehe. Its understandable that all of us have been walking the whole day haha. Ohh yeah and they dont provide towels, you gotta rent em for 2 SGD.

The staff were lovely and helpful and the room/bathroom...

The staff were lovely and helpful and the room/bathroom were clean and tidy. The room of 24 is actually partitioned so a cluster of beds in each area.

I was advised by the hostel Lavender station was the closest, so I ended up walking nearly 3km with my heavy rucksack - when in fact it wasn’t. Future reference Farrer Park is a 5 min walk at most. No other issues, everything else was fine.
